COVID-19 CITY HALL CLOSURE

City Hall will be closed until further notice to in-person visits, other than for election & dog tag purposes.  We appreciate your patience as we all work through this situation the best we can as it changes rapidly.  Below are some instructions for both election related items and dog tags, please read through them and consider your options carefully.  Our main goal is to limit exposure and follow the Governor’s directives as closely as possible.

ELECTION ITEMS:
Registrations - The last day to register to vote online is Wednesday, March 18, 2020.  Starting Thursday, March 19th you must register in person.  To do this you will need to have proof of residence.  Please call (920) 487-5203 BEFORE  coming to City Hall so we can walk you through everything you will need to bring with you to register.  You may register and vote at the same time, please consider doing this.  There will be a doorbell in the front entryway.  Please press the button and wait for someone to assist you.  We will only be assisting one customer at a time.  If there are multiple people waiting in the front entryway please consider waiting in your car or calling for an appointment.  Appointments can be made by calling (920) 487-5203.

Absentee Ballots – Voting by absentee ballot is currently active through Friday, April 3, 2020.  There are two options to vote by absentee ballot, you can request one be mailed to you or vote in-person at City Hall.

The fastest way to request an absentee ballot is to go to myvote.wi.gov and click on the blue button for “Vote Absentee”.  This will take you to a page to enter your name and date of birth, if you do not have a photo ID on file with our office you will be asked to upload one.  If you need assistance with the web site feel free to call our office and we will gladly help as much as we can.  You can also ask that a paper application for absentee ballot be mailed to you to fill out and return to our office; please note that you will still need to provide a photo ID unless you are exempt from this requirement.

If you prefer to vote in person you may come to City Hall Monday – Friday from 8 am until 4 pm.  There will be a doorbell in the front entryway, please press the button and wait for someone to assist you.  We will only be assisting one customer at a time.  If there are multiple people waiting in the front entryway please consider waiting in your car.  Please consider making an appointment by calling (920) 487-5203.
