Founded in 1944, the Club is the oldest continuously
operating Youth Club in the United States and has been recognized by both State and
National organizations for civic and community service. Sponsored by the Algoma
Parks and Recreation Department, the Club is open annually from September 15th through
June 15.
|
The Club has a gymnasium, large screen TV, pool &
ping pong tables, video games, juke box and snack counter. Although called the Youth
Club, the facility offers enjoyment for all ages. There are basketball and
volleyball leagues, pool leagues and dance classes for adults.

Knudson Hall connected to the Club has meeting rooms,
lounge area and kitchen available for community use and is also used for NWTC classes.
