Sgt. Ryan Roesch has been with the
Algoma Police Department since 1998. Prior to that, he worked for the Lena
Police Department, Security at Fox Valley Tech and was a Loss Prevention
Investigator. He has been in law enforcement for 8 1/2 years. He enjoys
being able to deal with new people, and having different tasks to do every
day. Besides his normal duties at the Police Department, he is a firearms
instructor, rifle instructor, simunition instructor, SWAT team member and an
evidence technician. Outside of work, Sgt. Roesch enjoys whitetail deer
hunting (bow and rifle), fishing and camping. He resides in Algoma with his
wife Melinda.
