Grant Available to Business Customers of Algoma Utilities
Algoma Utilities, through funding available from our power supplier, WPPI Energy is soliciting requests from local business’s interested in installing electric vehicle chargers. Algoma Utilities EV Charger Grant will provide up to $5000 (grant will not exceed cost to purchase and install charger).
Grant requests will be accepted at the Utilities’ office through October 28, 2022. To be considered for a grant, organizations must submit a letter requesting assistance. The letter should include:
• Where will the charger(s) be installed?
• Proposed charger(s), (must be Level 2 or Level 3)
• Proposal of cost to install charger
• Who will be able to use the charger?
• Will there be a cost to use the charger?
Charger must be purchased before 12/1/22.
Grant recipients cannot also receive funding from Algoma Utilities EV Charger Incentive. Click on both of the EV Charger Incentive links for more information about the incentives offered!
