NOTIFICATION of Non-CANDIDACY
The following incumbent office holders have filed a Notice of Non-Candidacy for the Spring Election to be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024:
Aldermanic District 4 – Jake Maring

This information is being posted per Wis Stat §§ 8.10(2)(am) and 120.06(6)(b)3m.

In jurisdictions where nomination papers are required, if an incumbent does not file either a notification of non-candidacy by December 22, 2023 or nomination papers and a Declaration of Candidacy by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, the filing deadline for that office is extended by 72 hours from the original deadline for all candidates except the incumbent. Wis Stat. §§ 8.10(2)(a) and 120.06(6)(b)3.

City of Algoma, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin residents interested in running for office may download nomination forms and the other required ballot access documents from either the Wisconsin Elections Commission website: https://elections.wi.gov/candidates/local-candidates#4257225834-1424867010 or the City’s website: www.algomacity.org (Departments – Clerk – Election Information – News & Announcements)

Nomination papers and the other required ballot access documents must be completed and filed in the clerk’s office by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in order for candidates to qualify for ballot placement.
